Toxic Parts

  • All parts are toxic, especially the bark and berries.

Symptoms

  • Blistering of the lips, mouth, and throat

  • Salivation

  • Thirst

  • Swelling of eyelids and nostrils

  • Burning and ulceration of digestive tract

  • Vomiting

  • Bloody diarrhea

  • Weakness

  • Headaches

  • Delirium

  • Convulsions

  • Coma
