Kathryn Parker, MD

Biography

Dr. Kathryn Parker is a board-certified pediatrician who enjoys all aspects of caring for newborns through adolescents. She grew up in Ohio before moving to the Northeast for her education.


She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and later worked in research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She then moved to Albany for medical school, where she met her future husband. Together, they completed their residencies at Stony Brook University on Long Island, where they also welcomed their first son. After residency, they returned to Albany, the place they felt most at home. Since then, Dr. Parker’s family has grown to include two sons, a daughter, and a pet bunny.


As a pediatrician, Dr. Parker’s primary focus is building strong partnerships with families, helping patients and parents work together toward a healthy, fulfilling life. She believes in open, productive communication and values family expertise alongside her knowledge of development, preventative care, and up-to-date, evidence-based medicine. Dr. Parker strives to create a space where every patient feels heard and understood, recognizing that all questions and concerns are important. With over 10 years of experience practicing general pediatrics in the Capital District, she is excited to join Four Seasons Pediatrics, where she believes in the shared mission of providing excellent, compassionate care.
